Star Wars Scoundrel Guide Review

Looking on the web to find a guide for the Star Wars Scoundrel, I came across quite a number of sites that sold these SWTOR Scoundrel guides. The Scoundrel is the advanced class for the Smuggler in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I needed a strategy guide to narrow down my path to success in the game and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this guide by a site called KillerGuides.

Their website looked quite “old school” with old medieval designs, even their guide was designed that way. But the overall detail and content were perfect even after I had done so much self research about this class. The SWTOR Scoundrel Guide I bought was part of a mini bundle guide for the Smuggler which included the Gunslinger and Scoundrel, but I bought only one to test out the site.

The author who wrote and is responsible for the guide must have had serious hours of playtime and beta-tested the game. I believe this guide is the perfect fit for beginners in the game all the way to experts with strategies for high achievers within the game. It does an excellent job at telling you how to go about leveling, doing quests, and also explain how to earn and accumulating credits.

The other good thing about this guide is their free updates. When new updates are made to the guide, you can download it right away without a subscription fee or anything. That was perfect for a huge MMO like Star Wars. If you’re interested in the full collection of guides, check out their SWTOR guides bundle.

SWTOR Scoundrel Guide

Here’s an overview of Scoundrel. For more information and gameplay recommendations, check out this SWTOR Scoundrel Guide.

The first thing to look at in a SWTOR Scoundrel Guide is types of armor. Generally, the smuggler class has armor that isn’t fancy or heavy, and is loose fitting. This makes it simple for the character to draw firearms like laser pistols very quickly, which is always useful in tense situations like when your ship is investigated by a local planetary official who is there to inspect it for illegal materials.

SWTOR Scoundrel Guide sites should also have information on sidekick characters such as a wookie. This closely mirrors the setup in the original movies where Han Solo, a scoundrel type class, had a sidekick wookie character named Chewbacca.

Scoundrel characters have tactics and strategies that aren’t predictable, so they can take enemies by surprise, similar to the “Rogue” character from Dungeons and Dragons type games. The character has equipment like a stealth belt, medipack, scatter gun, and other gadgets to help the character move through the treacherous waters of intergalactic smuggling. Using this equipment correctly is important, since Scoundrel’s won’t fair well in extended fights.

The SWTOR Gunslinger class has two guns instead of all of the gadgets that Scoundrels get. These gadgets allow for a stealthy kind of approach for the scoundrel, so they can finish fights quickly and then stay out of dodge, focusing on avoiding long drawn out conflicts that they can’t win very quickly.

Star Wars the Old Republic Scoundrel Specialization

Below is an overview to Scoundrel Specialization. More detailed content and coverage of the topic could be found in this SWTOR Scoundrel Guide.

The acronym “SWTOR” stands for “Star Wars the Old Republic. This is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where thousands of other players all play with, and sometimes against each other to form a sprawling story set in the Star Wars universe.

SWTOR is set in the “Old Republic” era inside of the Star Wars universe. This means that the events happening around the players take laces thousands of years before those that happen in the original Star Wars movies. There are many different classes you can become when you start playing the SWTOR game. Each class has a variety of sub-classes that let you further customize your character to make something completely unique.

One of the classes is called the “Smuggler.” This class covers characters that try to smuggle goods between planets to make a profit, similar to the character of Han Solo in the original Star Wars movies. A sub-class of Smuggler is called “Scoundrel.” A SWTOR Scoundrel Guide will help you find the exact configuration that you want inside of the game.
